Introduction

The KBV Community of Practice brings together practitioners and ecosystem actors working to strengthen enterprise support for MSMEs, agribusinesses, and farmer organisations across Kenya. Through shared learning, practical problem-solving, and collaboration, the Community of Practice helps improve how enterprise support services are delivered in real programmes.

The CoP supports the adoption of standards-aligned, performance-based BDS and enables continuous improvement through Learning-in-Action—ensuring that what works is shared, adapted, and scaled across the ecosystem

What Happens in the Community of Practice

  • Practitioners share experiences and lessons from delivering enterprise support.

  • Members collaborate to solve practical challenges in BDS delivery.

  • Participants explore how to apply KS ISO 18716:2024 and emerging national BDS standards and frameworks in practice.

  • Members learn from pilots, programmes, and implementation initiatives.

  • Tools, templates, and delivery approaches are improved through shared learning.

  • Ecosystem actors strengthen coordination and reduce duplication of efforts.

  • Insights and evidence are generated to improve enterprise support systems.

Join a growing network of practitioners and ecosystem actors who are learning from each other and working to improve enterprise support delivery across Kenya

Learning Hub

The KBV Community of Practice Learning Hub is being developed as a central platform for knowledge, tools, and continuous learning across the BDS ecosystem. This hub will support BDS providers, ESOs, and ecosystem actors to strengthen delivery quality, adopt standards-aligned practices, and improve enterprise-level outcomes.

Share Learning or Case Studies

The KBV Community of Practice also captures lessons from real programmes and initiatives so the ecosystem can continuously improve. If your organisation is implementing an enterprise support programme, pilot, or initiative, you can share insights and lessons that may benefit others.
