Governance Credibility

Kenya BDS Vision (KBV) operates through a structured, multi-stakeholder governance and delivery architecture designed to combine strategic legitimacy, national coordination, technical discipline, and practical implementation. KBV is being activated as a Kenya-owned platform, but it is not starting from scratch. Its governance architecture builds on a founding ecosystem vision in which AMEA serves as a founding ecosystem partner, helping steward the broader standards-driven and market-systems direction of the initiative. At the coordination level, the Secretariat is hosted by Africa Turnaround Limited (ATL), which provides the day-to-day coordination backbone for activation and rollout. This architecture is designed to ensure that KBV can move with both speed and credibility — strengthening enterprise support systems without over-centralizing delivery in the Secretariat or any one institution.

Board of Trustees

Provides non-executive trusteeship, integrity oversight, continuity, protection from capture, and strategic legitimacy. The Board includes institutional trustee categories, including a Founding Ecosystem Trustee seat represented by AMEA as the founding ecosystem partner and steward of the broader BDS market systems vision.
